Register Today for the 2nd Annual Dean Oberle Memorial Golf Tournament

We are thrilled to announce our recent partnership with Waterloo Region Community Foundation (WRCF), which now manages the endowment fund for us called “Dean Oberle Legacy Fund.”

WRCF has managed these types of funds and partnerships locally for more than 40 years provides WRCF the opportunity to provide tax receipts to donors for donations made in Dean’s memory.

Endowment money is invested by WRCF and we will use the proceeds each year to honor Dean’s continuing legacy through a memorial scholarship. In this way, the Dean Oberle Legacy Fund will live forever and continue to provide financial support annually to athletes and officials who are pursuing post-secondary education and who emulate Dean’s most memorable and impactful qualities.

The larger the endowment we raise, with your generous support, the more funds we will be able to contribute each year. You can learn more and make a donation by visiting

We chose today, April 14, to share this announcement because it is Dean’s birthday. And we thought we’d tie into his two favorite sports and drive up the donation rate using some numbers that represent, or are important to, Dean. Any donation is appreciated, but here’s a fun way to connect and remember:

  • Dig the $14 Level
  • Level Pass $24
  • Set Level $42
  • Surge Rate $59

  • Single Tier $14
  • Double Tier $24
  • Tier Three $42
  • Homerun Rate $59

We will also continue to raise separate non-charitable funds through our golf tournaments and other sources, which will also be used to directly support the personal growth and development of officers. We work closely with the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) and Baseball Ontario (OBA) to help determine the annual recipients.

From all the people who have crossed Dean’s path along life’s journey, we thank you for your generosity.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
